Osmia's new Lip Doctor is a simple formula with a complicated history. Osmia's founder experienced an incredibly frustrating few months with miserable, peeling lips before she figured out she had an allergy to a component of castor oil called ricinoleic acid. She created this formula to soothe her lips, and she has since given it to friends in need when their lips were in a compromised and unhappy state.
Lip Doctor is made with no essential oils, as even those can be irritating to sensitive lips. It has only six ingredients, including organic olive oil infused with Colorado-grown, organic lavender. Organic cocoa butter and beeswax give it staying power, while organic avocado and argan oils penetrate deeply to help lips stay in healthy, smiling condition. You may as well buy two.
